Localities
The conference will take place at Vartov, which is located in the centre of Copenhagen at Farvergade 27, Copenhagen K.
All delegates will stay at Danhostel Copenhagen City, H.C. Andersens Boulevard 50, 1553 Copenhagen V. This is a 10 minutes walk from the conference premises.
Costs
The registration fee for the conference is 50 euros that will cover your stay, accommodation and meals. You should check with your youth coordinator if your section covers the travel costs.
Participants
There will be 10 youth delegates from each of the Nordic countries - Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark plus youth coordinators from each country. And then there will be a few activists from Amnesty sections outside of the Nordic Countries as well.
Alcohol
The conference is alcohol free which means that you are not allowed to buy or drink alcohol during the conference and during the mandatory programme. Under 18ens are not allowed to buy or drink alcohol at all during their stay in Copenhagen-
Mandatory programme
The programme is mandatory which means that everyone has to participate in all sessions. After the end of the programme each evening we all go back to the hostel together. The under 18ens are not allowed to leave the conference premises after the end of the programme.
Parental permission
Under 18ens from Norway and Finland will need a parental permission to go to the conference. You will get that from your own youth coordinator.
Insurance
AI Denmark does not cover insurance for the participating delegates, so make sure that you have a valid insurance - either a private one or one provided by your national AI-section. A normal travel-insurance should suffice. If in doubt, please contact your country's youth coordinator or regional leader.
What should you bring?
The hostel will provide bed linen and towels for all delegates, so all you need to bring are clothes and other personal items. You should also bring a presentation, pictures, poster or similar to present during the sharing experience session. You also need to bring your own pocket money and enough money to buy food during your travel. Though some stores will accept euros in Copenhagen, this is not common and we advise you to bring either a credit card or Danish kroner
