Saturday November 28th 2009 The Black Diamond will open its doors to Amnesty's Danish Section's first international conference Amnesty IMPACT 2009. The programme offers an exceiting debate between Mary Robinson, former UN High Commisioner for Human Rigts, and Irene Khan, Amnesty International's Secretary General. As a member you will be able to participate in the debate in company with Secretary Generals from 70 Amnesty sections/structures and 500 Danish members.

In preparation for the Climate Conference (COP 15) the international conference will angle the controversial climate change debate that will kick off in early December in Copenhagen. At the conference Amnesty has the opportunity to highlight  the human consequences of climate changes and what ethical and social demands they make especially in the Western World.

The conference will be in English.

Accomodation will be at the brand new hotel Wakeup Copenhagen designed by Kim Utzon.
